Beer Fest Melbourne

Did anyone make it to the beer festival/expo at Federation Square last Wed and Thursday? I was in Sydney so couldnt make it but would like to hear about the event from some one who went.

Also any one been to the Rifle Brigade Pub and Brewery recently? I am going through Bendigo on Thursday and am thinking about stopping in for lunch and tasting their beer.

I visited the Rifle Brigade about 10 months ago,

It was OK, but quite a home brew type flavour to the ales, they only had 2 available a the time and both were dark beers, can recall what though.
