I have a general idea of the colour of a style of beer but is their a visual tool that can be used. I am thinking something like a ph tester. A peice of glass/perspex with a colour chromatic scale set to EBC.

Excellant, very helpful. Will have to get my hands on some of these.

Thanks Brad

App that I downloaded on the missus's iPhone has a sliding scale for the beer colour, kinda cool to play around with.

Bulk buy - bulk buy. :p

The thought did cross my mind.......................for a millisecond. May order the twin pack for under 15 bucks AU. Perhaps a retailer could stock them and then we could use them at ..........................nudge nudge wink wink B)

Will give it a couple of days to see if interest builds, doesnt really matter how many but obviously price is controlled by quantity and quantity is governed by my outlay. Which is why 20 will be my limit

I figure that $10au mailed would be a reasonable cost per twin pack????????????? ( Depends on dollar value at order time) this would involve me ordering and covering cost then mail out. If interest is good I will start a mini/bulk buy thread.
To keep within new B.B rules give me a PM if interested, those that have already shown interest I have already got your name so dont worry about the PM

I have the Pocket / Wallet Guide got it a few years back has come in handy I also would be in for the twin pack

There are a few of us doing the BJCP course at the moment in Melb so there might be some interest from some of the group. I will ask tonight and pin through a PM depending on interest.
