I hear tell the Beards are playing... those guys are awesome

That's good to hear. Last year they had a young chick band called Stonefield and they were fantastic.

Well the rest of you must be still hungover!! I had an absolute hoot of a day.............and I was on the serving side. Congrats to all who attended, only one pretty pissed dude and he was still in control.....kinda!
Great festival, great bands, great crowd and **** hot beer.

And the after party was killer. :super:

Yep I agree, what a great day. The kids loved it as well with the animals, jumping castle and face painting. They were to chicken to go on the train ride by themselves lol. Some bloody good beers to be had there as well, my only regret was missing the Kooinda IPA, I did try the Saison though. Also saw some dude going off dancing like a raver lol, that was funny. An annual for me for sure now that I have a place to crash for the night :)

Brilliant day!

Highlights were the weather, the music and the company - and the beer! Discovered and was blown away by Kooinda (milk porter bloody delicious, not to mention the pineapple / mango cider). Also enjoyed the Prickly Moses Blueberry Heffe, Red Hill as usual (the scotch ale for an old favourite.) A few others were memorable in taste but not so much in brand - should have kept notes! All topped off at the end of the day by a lovely fella who shared a few puffs on his joint. Magic. Kudos to the organizers. Even the dunnies were civilized!

We had a great day. The Moo brew stout was sensational. I think my bro in law and I ordered a keg. (The missus is going to kill me)

The lines to get tokens and food were great, not too long like last year and even the beer lines weren't that bad with most brewers tents.
We scored a table in the shade under the grand marquee which was awesome. The only downfall was some pissed dude trying to talk to us and had his hand on the wife's shoulder.
I knocked it off twice before having to tell him to get his hands off her.
He started getting irate and I thought it was on but security spotted him and kindly escorted him away. Other than that the people were great. Awesome eye candy there too.

Did anyone see the dude with the umbrella hat? What a bloody clever idea

Great day...
Loved the Red Hill Scotch, Moo Brew Porter and the Two Birds Sunset was going down great all afternoon!!
I put some pics up here....

Got home to realise I didn't actually take many pics of beer...and they generally got blurrier as the day went on  .
Hats off to all the brewers, organisers, crowd and The Beards!!!
:kooi:

Yeh saw that guy with the umbrella hat. Did anyone see the old granny in leather shorts and leather bikie jacket?
