I bought a Crown water urn for HLT and BK but it came with a tap that’s not easy to thread a hose onto, certainly not a small hose for fly sparging.
I have a stainless ball valve with a male 1/2” (15mm) thread, but the urn has a larger female thread, 7/8” (22mm).
So it seems I need either a 7/8” to 1/2” reducer or a 7/8” ball valve. But I can’t find either online anywhere.
Has anyone solved this issue with a Crown water urn before? Or know where I might be able to get those parts?
