Ball valve for Crown Water Urn

i bought a 40L crown water urn to use as HLT and boil kettle. It came with a sturdy tap but it’s not easy to attach a hose to, certainly not a small hose for fly sparging. I have a stainless ball valve that i can attach a 3/8” (9mm) hose to and it has a 1/2” (15mm) male thread. The urn has a female thread that is larger than 1/2”. It’s 22mm, which I’m guessing is 7/8”.

So I guess I need a 7/8” to 1/2” male-female reducer, or otherwise a 7/8” ball valve, but I can’t find either online anywhere.

Has anyone else managed to solve this issue? Or can anyone recommend a place to get these parts?
