Aquarium/submersible Heaters

Here is how i have done one of my immersion heaters to fit through the lid of my fermenter and it can go straight into the wort to heat it with my tempmate.

What have you used to seal it up there where you've put the chord through the lid? What could you use to seal it up?

I don't use a lid on my fermenter just gladwrap over the opening. Use the rubber ring, that I removed from the lid, and put it over the mouth of the fermenter - heater stays in place as the ring is holding the power cord against the fermenter wall.
