ANZ welcomes Apple pay to Australia

For those of you with iPhones or Apple watches Anz have just lanched Apple pay today for most of their card products Watch all the other banks jump on board now that ANZ has.

i tried it today on my phone and worked fine then tonight at Woolies and Dans with my apple watch. Fairly straight forward process.

just be aware that anz has added 2 or 3% fees to any overseas transaction or account, so if the apple pay is an overseas based account and not apple pay australia you will be stung

yes the bastards are looking for anyway to charge unscrupulous fees and make money considering it costs them next to noyhing for electronic transactions

Apple pay isn't the account, ANZ is. So of course its Aussie based. it doesn't cost anything to use other than what your normal fees may or not be for that account.
