Any Hop Rhizomes For Sale

Hello fellow brewers

I had computer email problems and missed the hop rhizome orders at www.grumpys.com.au
Please, is there any one out there who can sell me some hop rhizomes.
At this stage more interested in aroma hops, ie hallertau, hersbrucker, sazz, cascade but will take anything that is a known species.

Appreciate any help.

"The season for buying rhizomes is from May 30th to August 30th, the optimum time is during July. "

I have also just missed out on the Grumpy's sale of Rhizomes. So I've just sent Stewart an email, hoping to hear some good news back from him with regards to a hop rhizome or two. Mind you if there's anyone around willing to sell a cascade hop rhizome let me know.

i didn't relize grump's had a cut off so early either... ...bugger..i wanted to try setting up some strings down in the paddock..

oh well... i have emailed Stewart hopefully i can still get my hands on some..

I got a goldings seedling/cutting from batz thats grown quite nicely but would like to see how some other varieties stack up..

Dug my "Victoria" cultivar up today to make room for a Willamette rhizome I will be getting.

I cut it into three rhizomes so if anybody wants to buy a piece:

75 g Victoria hop $10 (will be packed in slightly damp coir)
plus $5 for 500 gram parcel post anywhere in Australia.
75 g Victoria hop

140 g Victoria hop $15 will do the cheapest postage possible, email me for quote.
140 g Victoria hop

385 g Victoria hop $15 + $5 postage WA only for this one!
385 g Victoria hop

I noticed this posted on Grumpys forum: "HOP RHIZOMES 2007" May 31, 2007

"Our supplier has actually contacted us and requested we take no more orders.
Orders taken in the last week may not be able to be filled.
We will negotiate with him and see what we can be do.
If we can't fill your order we will notify you."

I did notice Stewart wasn't selling any Goldings this year at Grumpys,
so they will probably be in short supply.

I have seen so many requests for Saaz over the last four years but never heard of anyone growing them,
have they ever been in Australia?

Oops! Sorry I forgot this was a freebie from you last year, I swapped
and purchased most of my rhizomes from here at that time, and forgot
your generosity.

It wasn't my intended plan to grab a freebie from this forum to grow
for one season and resell back here!

I needed to sell one of my plants to make room for the Willamette I
am getting from kieran this year for a Columbus rhizome I swapped
last year. (I underestimated the area one needs for these plants!)

I will let sqyre know he can have his 75gram rhizome for free.

Hey guys I would love to offer freebies here but am on disability pension income
so was just trying to balance good value to making a much needed few dollars.
