I am putting a temporary lid on this as above , we have 40 plus bags here! :blink:

Perhaps more can be added after I talk to Grant.

Jimmyjack a national debate has already happened here may times , do a search on Powells malt.
Please read carefully not all brewers are fans of this malt , there has been problems in the past.
I don't recommend you do or do not use it , price wise you can't do better.
Any problems with malt from this bulk buy will have to be directed to Powells not me !

With an output of only one batch a month, I don't really need a lot of grain to see me through (See my order --- #Post 14).

That said, I would like to be the first cab off the rank regarding a grain swap.

Anyone want to swap half a sack of Pils for half a sack of Ale? PM me if you are interested after Batz opens up the orders again (?). Coast brewers get first preference.

Now problem is Max. of 40 bags per pallet.

So it's 40 bags or another frieght cost of one more pallet

Sorry bindi , I can't see how I could do your order as we are asking others to drop some bags from their orders.
You will have to wait for the next one.

For those who have not collected grain from me before , just be aware I am around 150km north of Brissy.

Always good for a beer or two when you turn up though

Time to get positive numbers and malts together.

Here's a thought

If needed I don't mind increasing the order to two pallets , this will mean a little more freight costs.

What do you guys think? It would mean you can order what ever you want , plus we can accommodate everyone.

I know I'm not in the bulk buy - but a pallet up to you & 1 to OZ would make a lot of sense. The increase in freight even if you don't make up 2 full pallets is only a few bucks & well under the cost of a run up north for the brizzy boys... Though the beers waiting, would be mighty tempting :chug:

not that I overly mind, but how did my order get cut so much?, i dont mind dropping a few bags to keep the order to 40 bags, but I wouldent mind picking the bags i want

OZ or whom ever I just dropped an ale off the list that you can have back. I am more than happy with 1 Ale and 1 Pils. Or if we get two pallets I will get 2 ale and 2 pils

Sorry Oz your order must have cut by mistake, not by design. Batz has offered to drop 2 bags and so has Sluggerdog so your orginal order would still stand.

I have been quite on this to now as it would be uneconomical for me to order just a bag or so and collect it from you. I really enjoyed the last time going up there, however a pension pay and SWMBO dictates. (You can put your hankie away now). However, if there is a chance of a Brisbane drop off I would love to get a couple bags of Ale).

So, keep me in the back of your mind just in case demand will dictate an increase in order and a drop off in Brisbane. (My place can hold a pellet providing I don't have to pay for it.)
