LATEST NEWS FROM ANHCVIRGIN BLUE CREDIT AND THE BEERS REVEALED
In the unlikely chance you haven't already made up your mind about attending the 2009 ANHC Beer and Food Pairing Dinner, here's a sweetener for our interstate friends. Our very own webmaster Jeff has donated $70 worth of Virgin Blue credit for any interstate punter who'd like attend the dinner at William Angliss. The deal is... if you buy a ticket/s to the Beer and Food Matching Dinner by midnight tonight (and if you want the $70 Virgin Blue voucher) email [email protected] with your name, we'll pull a name out of a hat, and BAM, it's yours!
Just in case you didn't know, Melbourne's very own, beer loving MasterChef Chris Badenoch from Beer Masons is on board as a special guest (and for those who find Reality TV nauseating... Chris was very much involved in ANHC 08 as sponsor of the inaugural Gala Dinner). There are some magnificent homebrewed beers reaching maturity including a Kolsch, Rye IPA, Czech Dark Lager and Dry Irish Stout - around which four beautiful courses have been planned to make up the menu for November 27 at Willam Angliss Restaurant.
Do you need any more reasons to be there? Well, here's a few: we'll showcase a brand new larger of a German persuasion by Matilda Bay, pour wine from Otway Estate and Hickingbotham, and we'll pop the tops off some Pale Ales from Kooinda. And for those bringing partners who are into something other than beer (what?!!), we have Otway Estate and Hickinbotham wines for the dinner as well.
