Hello all,
I'm interested to know what people who use secondary fermentors and cold crashing do for their schedule before they keg and carbonate
For example for a simple pale ale I would.
Fermentation Schedule.
5 days Primary 18C
10 days secondary for conditioning 18C
3 days cold-crash 2C
Kegging Schedule.
Rack to keg 19l
Chill to 4C over night.
Force carbonate rocking on side for 45secs at 30psi.
Return to 4C overnight at 10PSI.
next day Serve beer.
Anyone see anything glaring bad about this? For example is my secondary fermentation too short or is it better to carbonate at 4C over several days at a lower PSI?
cheers
