I will back jayse up on these hops and offer my opinion. :eek:

I used Ahtanum solely in the brew I did and the resultant beer IMO is really tasty.
They have a very similar aroma to Cascade and also a subtle citrus flavour, the bitterness is really clean and I think this is partly due to the 1kg of Munich adding to the malt backbone. It certainly isn't as aggressive as Cascade.
As jayse said, the Crystal Rye isn't really evident in this beer so what I plan to do is use it in a brew with just pale malt to see if it offers a different flavour spectrum.

Anyway its two thumbs up for Ahtanum, the best of the American hops I have tried so far (thanks again to johnno B) )
