From Advance Chemicals in Altona, I can get a 25 litre container of LA449, application described as Acidic Detergent disinfectant used to clean dairy vats and equipment. See the JPEG image for their data sheet. (20-30% phosphoric acid).

Equates to about $2 per litre, I can pick it up and people can come to my place to get 2 litres or so. I'd guess that it would require a mixture to be made up to the correct solution of 1% of phosphoric acid.

Looks great Fraser! If I lived a bit closer I'd take up your kind offer. For those others who are unsure of phosphoric acid, it's what Grumpy's One Shot is based on. (Don't mix it with bleach but).

Fraser, if you know a bit about how to use it etc, would be great if you could add the info to a post on sanitisers that I made earlier today - Post #105259 'Sanitisers and their Dilution Ratios'. (I'm trying to get as much correct info on sanitisers that I can but downloaded your safety sheet and still can't read it even when I enlarge it!)

Brilliant price you're offering too!

Cheers mate! :beerbang:

Yep, as soon as I get the instructions on dilution ratios (assuming I get any interested people), I'll let you know!

Dairy supply shops are a great source of ortho-phos and idophor.

But the only come in 25ltr or bigger
