Pickup only or is post an option?
If so, what would be roughly the postage to melbourne?

As tempting as it is, i think i'll refrain from the drive to pick it up.
It only saves me ~$12 then, so i i'll pass to let someone up there snap it up as more of a bargain.
I'm still undecided as to whether i should go Plate or Immersion chiller anyway... decisions, decisions...
Good luck on the sale!

Type of defeats the theory on how the rocket works though, hot wort meet hops, conjugate then snap cooled to be held in their embrace .bum said:Recirc back into the kettle while still hot?
This is bargain, guys. Also, look at how shiny it is.
If you recirculate with this chiller back into your kettle you will drop the entire volume down under 60deg in a few minutes.welly2 said:How does this compare with an immersion chiller? I've got one of these: http://www.thebrewshop.com.au/wort-chiller-copper.html - not that I've used it yet but if this might do a better job, then I'd be keen to take it off your hands.
The only benefit I see to an immersion chiller is the closed external system. There's not mystical internals which could possibly harbour debris or nasties.seamad said:I've got the same one that batz has for sale and reckon it's great, I got the plate chiller as I wanted a hop rocket. Either one will use a bit of water, I'm on tank so just return the water to tank. There are pros and cons to both types, do some research and see what one meets your needs better, can't advise as have never used an immersion chiller myself.
Don't listen to them! They're a bad influence!Batz said:Sorry Welly these guys have convinced me to hang onto it.
