2018 Tasmania State Competition

Hi folks,

Judging for this year's Tasmania State Competition will be held at Shambles Brewery in Hobart on 15th September: http://tshbc2018.hobartbrewers.com/

More information on entering beers or volunteering to judge/stewart is on the competition website. Great prizes are afoot!

Deadline for dropoff: 11 September 2018. $10 per entry. Launceston and Hobart brewers club members can seek a partial rebate on fees paid after 11 September. In line with AABC guidelines, eligibility for prizes and qualification for national comp are only open to Tasmanian residents.

To shamelessly plagiarise from another post, please consider volunteering to judge - you will have an experienced judge to guide you:

• Evaluate some of the best beer in the state.
  
• Hone your judging skills by judging alongside experienced beer judges.
  
• Free lunch provided for all volunteers (I think!).
  
• Novice judges and stewards are welcome, with on-the-job training provided.
• Meet friendly brewers

Interesting that your comp was held on 15/09/2018 and the website is showing 0 entries, can anyone confirm this.

Hi! The website has reset, but there were well over a hundred entries. The results are available via the links above to the Facebook pages.
