2 x sour beers *****YAY******

No not really.

Last 2 beers come out sour Both smell great and taste great, but both have a sour finish. grrrrr
If i was trying to brew a sour beer, i bet i couldnt get it to taste this good :lol:

Different fermenters used each time. One of them was brand new.....

Almost 100% sure its coming from the plate chiller.
Im anal about sanitation, so would be very surprised if it was something else that was causing it.
I have done 30+ brews with no problems. Only been using the plate chiller on the last 4.

For those that use plate chillers, what is your cleaning / Sanitising procedure?

Something I read a little while back. I use a counterflow and was amazed what came out if that when I cleaned it properly.

About to enter my first comp, got plastic 30L fermenter soaking with around 10L of pink stain remover...
