Each time ive boiled for 15 mins with 50% pils in the grist. Result: DMS in the final prroduct. Have any members brewed this beer with a 90 min boil? Ta, Ronan

felten Homebrew Conjecturist Joined 13/5/09 Messages 2,536 Reaction score 45 13/4/13 #2 I've only made it with no-boil, and didn't have any DMS issues. IIRC Most of your DMS is formed at boiling temperature, so if you never reach a boil you won't create the DMS in the first place.
