Cascade use xtal malt, wheat flour and sugar in their recipie. From memory they also use a belgium yeast strain and POR hops.

I have some Fuggle Rhizomes growing in the patch, but trouble is the dog pulled them out of the pots when they were young & they are now mixed with Goldings Rhizomes.
Is there any way to tell the difference between Goldings & Fuggles?
I have to admit that I'm a fellow grain muncher as well. There is just something about the taste :)
My kids also ask for a sample just when I am gathering the ingredients before a brew.

I was inspired by this thread, so I attempted my own clone :lol:
The dark crystal used was 250 ebc, which I didn't account for. This turned out darker than anticipated, so I'll need to adjust for this next time.

I guess I was after something easy for my first real Lager & the recipes above give me a good start.
Searching the Recipe index, there wasn't that many Lagers with my range of hops & my limited knowledge on these varieties.
