Plz help w/ improving mash efficiency?

When you hear Americans talking about sparging, they are more often than not talking about fly sparging. They seem to love it. Batch sparging is more popular in Australia, and from what I've heard, the UK too. Listen to Stu and Screwtop. They are amongst the most experienced and knowledgeable...

    Matho's controller

dca, matho's original PCB has all the gerbers etc available to send to a PCB fabricator. In our case because of the small batches, we used the seeedstudio's fusion PCB service. Matho's schematic works with the ardbir firmware. I don't know if this is the latest version, but here is a link to the...

    Matho's controller

Max, there's something surreal about undergoing a local crisis like a flood and having external pressure that doesn't understand what you're going through. I just want you to know that many of us do understand what you're going through, having had flooding and cleanups a couple of times in the...

    Matho's controller

I implemented this exact autotune library on my Mashturbator HERMS controller, and it's almost completely useless. You need to tune the autotune. It's actually easier to get tuning parameters by following any of the many guides out there on the internet. I used this one and had good results: PID...

The first error indicates that the OneWire library hasn't imported properly. Give it another try and see what happens. You may find that once that is fixed, most or all of the other errors will go away.

How to start a Home Brew Club ?

I am not aware of any registration for comps, but I'm not involved with that side of things. We came up with our constitution by examining a few others and the examples on various government business registration websites, then drafting our own. We then sent it to members for comments and...

How to start a Home Brew Club ?

We started a new club in Ipswich, Qld almost 2 years ago now. It pretty much started organically through a bunch of posts on AHB querying interest. There was a fair bit of interest, so we organised a meeting and it went from there. Now, nearly 2 years in, we have a constitution, a committee and...

The Queensland Homebrewing Conference (The QHC)

I think a high attenuating yeast is still likely to chop bits off the ends of those complex sugars, so I'd still favour a low attenuating yeast to be sure.
