    Coopers Real Ale + 34/70!

    Opinions What do you all think is using Saflager 34/70 going to turn it into a Lager or is it going to be an ale? why am i think of this!....its cold and i have some 34/70 to use or should i just use the can yeast and heat pad 23L Coopers real Ale 500g LDM 1kg Dex + what Yeast?

    Beer Calculation

    Gday all Ive just put down a Tooheys Dark ale kit with 1kg Dex + 500g Dark DRY malt using the Kit yeast all in 23 Litres OG is 1041 so i got thinking what "should" this come out at for alcohol %.......did i miss anything Cheers all :icon_chickcheers:

    Gday all I have a "black rock" Bock tin of goo to use but the yeast is gone so what should i use my local home brew shop has SAF yeasts anyone want to drop me any idea's Temps are around 8-14 without any heating

    Brewcraft Newcastle Brown

    I have a tin sitting about that im thinking of putting on Brewcraft Newcastle Brown i need a yeast that wont mind temp's up to 24 :o i should be using dark dry malt or maybe a half and half LDM an DDM or should i just ditch the idea and do a wheat or Lager :unsure: cheers all

    Well after reading about peoples toucan brews i had to do one Black rock "dry lager" + cascade "golden harvest lager" with BE2 + 200g of LDM but i only used the one yeast satchel that came with the Black rock.......maybe i should have used both any way i left it for two weeks(at 17-20...
