    Coopers Mexican Cerveza

I dont mind admitting that I quite like the taste of Corona since the old girl put me on to it about 12 months ago at a wedding in Armadale. It was 40 degrees that day and I wouldve been partial to anything in liquid form. In Mexico, Corona is considered by locals to be a very ordinary beer so...

Beer Gas As Opposed To Co2

Thanks Guys Yes thats what I thought Ross when my mate first told me he was switching over to beer gas a week ago. Hes the sort of mate that will say its brilliant regardless of whether or not theres a difference. But hey... his a top mate and as long his beer tastes good and he keeps pouring...

    Burping And Pressurising A Keg

Can anyone provide some advice as to correct way to burp a keg prior to refrigerating? I have always understood that a new batch will not absorb gas in a warm keg until it has been refrigerated for at least a 4-6 hours or depending on the fridge temperature. I have listened to blokes tell me...

    eBay Items II

Hey sluggerdog, great find!!! I just added it to my Ebay watch list.... I hope we dont end up bidding against each other. I reckon glasses are just like beer kegs, you can never have to many of them. Cheers Boagesmalone

Ahb Beer Glasses - Time To Decide

The glasses sound and look great!!! I particularly like the Cervoise but Im more than happy to go with the Nonic. I already have a six set of Cervoise Boags glasses and they seem to be the one that every one reaches for first when theyre pouring themselves a beer. I like them also for their...

Bundy Rum & Cola On Tap

We tried this for the first time a few weeks ago using Bundaberg Rum and very cheap Cola, and we were pleasantly surprised with the results. We werent sure how the Rum and the Cola both mixed together would react with the CO2. Most of my mates said it wouldnt be successful because it wont hold...

    9 X 18litre Postmix Pin Lock Kegs

Thanks Linz.... Thats similar to what Ill be doing. This is a new experience for me so I'm learning as I go. The main objective is to keep the beer line attached to the end of the gun or tap without having to dismantle that end. If I buy 2 pairs of disconnects then I can do both. But Ill...

    9 X 18litre Postmix Pin Lock Kegs

Yes your probably right Paul, I should sell them all and try and make a profit. However, now that I have had time to take in all the great advice, I cant wait to see their eyes when they witness the sophisticated rig that I will have set up. (All for my benefit of course...???) But I will...

    9 X 18litre Postmix Pin Lock Kegs

Hi Justin Thanks for your advice especially your idea of changing over from a ball lock to a pin lock keg by just unscrewing the ball lock disconnect and screwing on a pin lock disconnect. I wasnt aware that you could purchase gear that would do that. As I said Ive been using the same system...

    9 X 18litre Postmix Pin Lock Kegs

Thanks Stagger... I will keep him in mind. Can you PM a contact number and name so that I can call him if I decide to go that way. Cheers Boagesmalone

    9 X 18litre Postmix Pin Lock Kegs

I forgot to mention that I would leave both lines (disconnects) to the gas line and just leave the inactive line just hanging there waiting to be used next time. And of course I will need to re-clamp the beer line to the gun each time I switch over. I imagine thats about it.

    9 X 18litre Postmix Pin Lock Kegs

Thanks guys you have just talked me in to it. Ive decided I will now buy two new pin lock disconnects ($20 each). The reasons being I already have two beer lines. I will leave the tap as is using the ball lock system, and hook the gun up to pin lock disconnects. Messy I know but having this...

    9 X 18litre Postmix Pin Lock Kegs

Thanks Guys for your advice, I already have an 8-keg system with 4 X 22 litres and 4 X 18 litres all with ball lock posts. I thought about buying the disconnects to switch over each time I swap between keg systems, but I would much prefer to keep it simple. I might not have any alternative...

    9 X 18litre Postmix Pin Lock Kegs

I have 9 X pin lock 18litre postmix kegs (Coca-Cola) with 12-month-old seals, and I am contemplating whether or not I should sell them or hang on to them. I bought 12 of them over the phone for $20 each with out asking whether they had ball lock posts, and then travelled two hours to get them...
