    The soil in the potting mix would be warmer than that of the potting mix in the ground as the sun heats pots up quicker than soil in the ground. Maybe the warmer soil temp is the reason.

    Carlton Draught Style Recipe

    Thanks for the feedback guys. I actually have a Morgans blue mountain lager in the fermenter with some light dry malt extract and dextrose brewing with a true lager yeast at the moment, so it will be interesting to see how that turns out.

    thanks for the help guys it turned out the hose was too thick for the hot water to have much of a effect, so i got creative and stuck the drill down the hose and thinned it out, actually worked perfectly!
