    A Nice Even Beer.

Heres one for a really nice K@K. Blue Mountain Lager Can. 600 Grams of Light Wheat Malt. 400 Grams of Dex. Either a Safale, or Saflager yeast, depending on your brewing capabilities. Give it 2 -3 months in the bottle. Its the best kit beer ive ever tasted.

    Pizza

Anyone ever tried baking a pizza in a Weber ? A touch of hickory wood on the heat beads for a wood fire taste. Not as good as a wood fire oven, but dam close. Mmmmmmm a nice meat pizza, and a rich stout. :beerbang:

    Failing Yeast?

Cant see how a yeast would die halfway through a ferment. If it got going in the first place it must be healthy, and they are hardy little buggas. I would imagine a sudden halt in CO2, if this happened.

What To Do With Kit Yeasts

Some kit yeasts arnt too bad though. Coopers is pretty good if you ferment under 20 degrees. 18 is better. Over that you get fruity beer. You can use them for a nutrient in your liquid yeast starters cant you ?

Made My First Homebrew, Coopers Lager - Didnt Work

xknifepointx, another point no one has mentioned is bottle conditioning and ageing. At 4 weeks in the bottle, its still green. Try leaving for a month or two more and you'll be pleasantly surprised ! :beerbang:

Made My First Homebrew, Coopers Lager - Didnt Work

How long has it been in the bottle ?, i know you mentioned a month in the fermenter, but bottle ageing is an all important factor. Using the ingredients you mention, you should at least get some kind of head. Unless your glass is bogus. Also what size bottles and how many carb drops per bottle ?

    Defining A 'toucan' Brew

" Defining a Toucan Brew " Using two hopped cans, its that simple :P I've done a couple, one crap, one good. Both of them were syrupy. The better of the two was two Grumpy's low bittered cans. Added some hops for flavour. Turned out very similiar to James Squire Amber. A little...

Show On Austar - Special Brew

Ive looked and searched and ca'nt find if it's to be repeated Yardy. Which is unusual for Austar, usually programs are repeated that night or the next day. Maybe someone can help.

Show On Austar - Special Brew

I watched it, it was pretty amateurish really, but hey ! theres not many home brew programs around if any. Some of their methods, were from the dark ages, like siphoning into bottles, and i could'nt understand why they added their bottling sugar/malt after they had bottled the brew.

    My Thinking

I'm on the fence, Screwtop. I actually love Doms abrasivness. His willinness to fight. For some reason, ive been at the other end of some of his online battles  As ive mentioned, theres more behind the man. There has been some run ins between him and i, but i wont judge him just yet...

    My Thinking

For all your lifes experiences domonsura, your awefully short with other forum members, and your opinions are the end and be end of all. For someone who has been through so much..........you would think that tolerance of others is high on your list of prioritys. I dont find this of you. As you...

    Clean Beer Bottles For Sale

Something i would buy, if i lived closer. I love my old style crown seal bottles and are very hard to acquire. 60 bucks is a tad too much for a bit of bottle history, considering there are only 62 Largys. I'd consider 30 - 40 dollars fair. I got 120, 750 ml Pickaxe bottles a while back, for a...
