Hi everyone,
I know this is a bit random and out of the blue, but I am chasing about 100g of carafa special III grain for a brew I'm doing on Sunday.
I'm in the northern suburbs of Perth, and would like to avoid a trip to Bibra Lake if at all possible.
I'm more than happy to throw a couple of...
What's this 'against the wishes of the brewer' nonsense? Any brewer just wants his beer sold, and people to enjoy it.
Sounds more like the bleating of an importer seeing some competition.
yup, I've been on OCAU since 2001, and have racked up many many posts in the homebrew thread.
Apart from a few who have been brewing for a while, there isn't anywhere near the progression of knowledge you get on here. It's mainly newbies
Is it still true you're not allowed any of the 250cc 2-smokers over there? that's a giant shame, because those bikes are fun+.
Check out the Aprilia RS125 and the Cagiva Mito 125, they're both fun, and will easily keep up with the Honda.
G'day from Gladstone. I've ducked into the library to get online.
I've just finished the last of the mixed carton, and verily it was good. The Rye ESB is something special, and I even got a VB drinker to enjoy the Rauch.
Cheers to Greg for brewing the lovely stuff, and all the miscreants who...
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I must decline to take part this year. I won't be in the country, and won't have a chance to brew anything between now and then. The WA christmas case is always a highlight of the festive season, I hope you all put your best brewing hats on and...
Wednesday afternoon might be best for us. My number is 0421120592 is anyone wants to find where we're at.
I tried to turn up to the platform bar today, was there at about 2pm but there were no signs of life :(
This Rye ESB has got me really interested.
Well I'm here now, it's a bit colder than I expected it would be.
Can somebody sort of in charge please PM me their phone number, I'll let you know when I'm coming, just so I'm not random turning up looking for beer.
Cheers
Why are you saying this? Is it a yeast health thing, or would the yeast eat the simple sugars first, neglecting the more complex ones and leaving them behind?
My experience with Belgians is the yeasts eat just about everything, they are not fussy. They are robust and as long as you use a good...
Kai: all you'd have to do is make sure the same person swims in the fermenter every day, and that they don't shower. I'm sure there would be plenty of volunteers for that job :D
