If this hasn't been done before. I claim it.. :lol:

If you've always had to shake starter wort after being boiled in an ice tub to get it to temp.

That is pretty decent cooling rate.

My approach is somewhat different. I no chill my starter wort. Usually make it in morning then add yeast in the evening.
(sealed with al foil and glad wrap).

Back on topic, good tip. Will try it if I need one started in a hurry.

I have a bigger Stainless bowl. It'll be interesting to see if this will work with a 5lt flask..
