Hi All.

I took a swap & go to BCF for a refill the other day and they refused me. They said the bottle did not have a date stamp for 10 year safety - and they were right.

Is this how it is with all Swap and go's? Do they do this on purpose to stop us brewing tight arses from being ripped at the servo.

CHeers all.

I've never had a problem. I think swap n go are all quick swap or something like now though.

I would doubt Swap n Go could legally give you a bottle without a test date on it...

I plan on swapping my bbq gas bottles closer to the 10 year mark for sure.

fwiw - I would give a service station a go - less likely they will check for date stamps I suspect ;)

They charge ~$35. BCF - $22.

Thats a no brainer for the brewer on a budget. :)

Cheers though mate.
