I was wondering about the weight of sugar required for abnormal bottles such as PET etc.
Im going to use 1.25 litre PET bottles for my first brew. Ive got a scoop but that is for 375/750ml.
Is there a specific weight per litre measurement??

Just use two slightly under full of the 750 spoon/scoop. If it's too fizzy, try a scoop of each as that will give you a 1.125L bottle.

Im an idiot cube, i should have thought of that, back to maths class for me.

You'll be right mate. Just watch out for the complexities of trying to ram as many cubes ( not me, the beer ones ) into a fridge to cold condition....

Those scoops carbonate at the top end of the range, in my experience.

Personally, I've cut the openings on mine down, so the measures are only about 75% of standard, and my carbonation is just fine.

To answer your question, just use one measure of sugar from each end, and you'll be OK.
