I'm new to home brewing, I've bottled 3 brews so far, the first was just a Coopers AU pale, it was fine, the next was a coopers vintage ale, 7% abv, 6 or more bottles sprung leaks from the bottom, now my 3rd brew, a Hoppy Amber also around 7% abv, have now started leaking. Could it possibly be the high abv? Anyone else had this happen?

Sounds like a manufacturing issue unless they've been dropped and cracked. Higher abv should be irrelevant. If a substance started dissolving above 5%abv, I wouldn't be using it for storing beer. You should be able to put whisky in those bottles if you want to.
