Where Can I Get V Belt Pulley's?

Hi guys,

I've been given a 1/4 hp(?) electric motor to drive my barley crusher mill. In order to rig it up & get the speed down, I need a large (300mm+ diameter) pulley.

Can anyone tell me where I can obtain these at a reasonable price? As I live in Sydney, I'd prefer somewhere local, but mail or net order works too.

I got mine from AIMS Industrial, 88 Bryant St, Padstow, 9773 0122.
They're right near the Fairford Road M5 exit.

tell them what rpm you want the mill to be at & they will work out what size pulleys you need. Was about $50-$60 for a big one from memory. maybe less.

I got mine from CBC in Silverwater.
They helped me with the ratio's to get the pulley sizes etc too.

and most bearing plases do pulleys.. BSC linky with sizer and part numbers..

hi, gasweld stores have a range of pulleys.

flemmings at auburn may have second hand.
