Looking through my cupboards at the moment for my next brew. The missus has buggered off with the car for a couple of weeks, its raining and I cant be assed walking across town to the HBS (and its the easter weekend anyway!).
So Im digging through my supplies looking for some inspiration. I want to have a crack at doing an extract brew, so Im looking for some suggestions.
Ive got this on hand:
c. 4.5kg Light DME
3kg dark DME
90g saaz pellets
100g hallertau
c. 1kg carapils
1kg caramalt
500g carahell
1kg dextrose
For yeasts I have windsor, a swiss lager, saflager and a munton's yeast cake still in the fermenter. Im think that it's still a bit too warm here to try for a lager yet (dont have a fridge yet), so probably an ale, but the yeasts I have dont seem to match my hops very well either.
