I "intend" to brew less to style and experiment a bit more.

Will be starting by using unfermented Muscat in a brew and have plans for a Mushy Pea Mild!

Isn't it enough for you Croweaters to ruin your pies.

I intend to brew some extreme beers this year, while trying my best to keep them balanced for early drinking. Also would like to make my first Belguim, Bock & Koelsch.

Cheers Ross

Brew lots

Work on my Pilsners

Never brew a wheatie <_<

Batz

- belgians
- english IPA
- buy temp controller for lager fridge
- a light lager
- a dark lager
- finish bar

Build a better mash tun.
Find a thermostat controlled box for an immersion element.
Get a bigger shed

Work towards the perfect :
APA
Shwarz bier
English Bitter

Resist the temptation to make a wheat beer, because as hard as I try, I just don't like them!

1. Brew a Coopers Pale Ale clone.

2. Pack up my brewery getting ready to move house

3.Move house

4. Do not try to substitute kit beers in 2007 to get me through just because I have no time to brew.

5.Unpack brewery and sundries ASAP, fit it all in a garage half the size of the one I have now, and get it all working again.

6. Brew beer.

Cheers

Just moved house and brewery dicko........... its not fun. Good luck with it all mate :p I just did my first brew since about may and it was tops. its going to be a ripper as well

OK plans for 2007...........

It seems to be a popular one but i too plan to explore the relm of belgian beers.

I want to increase the surface area of my MT false bottom to get better flow and less stuck mashes.

I want to develop a kolsch that gets me a top 3 in the mash paddle.

brew a honey basil ale

refine my schwarzbier

brew a fantastic decoction mashed octoberfest to have on tap in october and drink it all in 1 liter steins :super:

Brew a good light beer (3.2%)

get beer on tap at my new bar in our new house

set up a submersable pump to circulate pool water through my imersion chiller to save water from the tap.

get my "water purifier" up and running

learn, learn, learn and then learn some more about our passion.......... making beer

cheers

1. Better fermentation temperature control

2. March pump

3. Improve the yeast farm

4. Brew more

5. Maka a CAPA (or maybe a pilsner depending on #1)

Quickly thinking about it, I came up with:
- Enter less competitions
- Keep the Beer Engine in service year round, rather than just family events
- Get another CO2 regulator
- Get the backup keg fridge taps installed
- Get more serious in my plans to go commercial
- Upgrade my inline aeration airpump
- Get a microscope
- Make a bigger stir plate for massive starters for massive Imperial Hoppy beers
- Upgrade the HLT and Mash tun so I can do batches larger than 40 litres

Doc

Now that I've started to get the hang of AG, next year I hope to be able to craft my brews more than I have in the past- fine tune existing recipes so that they improve more and more plus making new, never before made recipes- such as a number of Blegian beer style recipes I have sitting in my computer right now.

You have winter up there <_< you mean for the dry and it's never that dry either.

Any night when the temp gets below 18 is a winters night :) wet or dry ... you've been down in the south to long bindi we feel the "cold" ..

Cheers and merry xmas

i might try to video one of Dr.Gonzo's decoction Dunkelweitzenbock brewdays and post it on youtube or something. Watching him cleared up a heap of issues for me, and tasty beer!
