I'm an extract brewer at the moment and put down a brew which I thought went wrong.

Swore left, right and centre my brew was oxidised. Never tasted anything like it before. 9 days in the fermenter and wet, wet cardboard on the palate. An American Pale Ale. Absolutley livid. Did everything right. Doubted every move I made. Searched high and low on the Interweb and after all the bullshit and propaganda, the posts concerned ended with " it's OK now" with the OP.

Guess what? Mines OK now too on day 11. Don't know where that taste went but it's OK. Any faults are from my brewing and not anything else. The cardboard went away.

i just had to type this because if anyone in the future goes crazy thinking what did I do wrong...the answer is nothing. Relax and have a home brew.
