Weight Of Gas Bottle?

Hi guys,

I am having trouble establishing the empty weight of my co2 cylinder.

The stamping reads this:

4 Litres 2.6kg CO2 DOT3AA2175 03-2010 06 01255
WWW.KEGKING.COM.AU TP2070 KPA AS2030 SD20081074-1

I know the 3AA means Steel and the TP means tested pressure, but I cant figure out what the tare weight is.

Any help would be appreciated!

It weighs 8.6kg on the scales, but I just bought it and it is supposedly almost full. What shold it weigh empty?

I hope so. I am just unsure if it is actually full because the guy I bought it off at work is pretty dodgy and wouldnt put it past him to say its full, but it really be almost empty.

You could always contact the manufacturer/distributor. "My Kegs on Legs" have their empty bottle weights on their website.
