Any reccomendations for a vacuum sealed containers?

I have a vac sealer, but would like some containers for hop storage.

Maybe I'm not up to date but I don't believe its an option.
You can suck all the air out of a bag because it collapses. A container doesn't collapse meaning air (oxygen) is left in there.

wouldnt be much of a vacuum sealer if it couldnt create somewhat of a vacuum ;)

Most certainly can but you need jars with the gasket lids that accept a hose which you can connect to (some) vacuum sealers

I cant help but be stubborn with that line of thought. What is the advantage of a vacuumed container that still has headspace?
Just maybe saving you 40 bucks.
Vacuum sealed bags are easier to store as well. Much more compact etc. With no headspace which is the point I thought.

I guess you're right. Just wanted something more permanent and get away from cutiing open plastic bags and throwing out that strip.

I understand. Vacuum sealed bags are once only. That can be a virtue itself though.
I just grabbed a 2 roll box of the smaller width for 40 bucks! Emergency buy.
I got some of the wider stuff in in bulk a while back but it is always worth it if you really care about uncorrupted fresh quality.

Edit: to add I kept last seasons hop bags that are yellow and smell like really bad feet stink. Some people claim to wash their bags to re use again and I have to say I've tried that with an assortment of things from vegies to fish. Whatever you use to clean it can stay with it too.
Plastic needs to be virgin for purest quality. Re used it will carry remnants of what ever it has contained in the past. Levels may be under recognizable by some punters.
