I agree .. I do this too.I like having the fire extinguisher trigger, it means no fear that a leak will empty me of all my gas. Anytime I feel the carb of the beer is dropping I just squeeze the trigger for a couple of secs.
speaking from experience??? got photos of the incident?? ))Safety wise it's vital your extinguisher is secure (in which ever position) as a dropped & broken extinguisher quickly becomes a rocket spewing out gas cold enough to burn fingers an skin off
No one in my area wanted to remove the dip tube, so I'm going to just get some RHS and weld up a stand that should put the nozzle at around knee height
I've used extinguishers for nearly a year now.
2. Sometimes I had lots of frosting on the top of the extinguisher and around the regulator. Once again I assume this isn't good.
yes I have a regulatormichael_aussie are you running a CO2 bottle without a regulator?
I have read carefully through the thread and thats what sounds like to me.

correct Maheelnah i think he's got the reg on there
The valve of the extinguisher is spring loaded to close.Yes, but if there was a regulator in there, the pressure wouldnt be going up in bursts sort of the point of a regulator.
My reading of the posts is that he has connected the extinguisher to the kegs and just squirting in a bit of CO2 at need.
I would like this clarified!
