Upcoming Beer Nights

Apologies for my slack posting, things have been busy.

The last Roxbury beer night was a focus on Australian Micros. We had -

Wig & Pen Kembrey Regional Ale (thanks to Richard Watkins)
Stone & Wood Draught
Bridge Rd Chevalier
Rocks Red Ale (on Draught, thanks Scotty)
Little Creatures Single Batch Brown Ale (somewhat Macro in comparison to its peers but too good to pass up)

This Monday (the 23rd of August) we are featured UK Ales. We have 4 bottled examples from Olde Blighty and one local on hand pumped. Kick off at 7.30pm. $20 for beer and a bite. Hit Oscar at [email protected] to book.

The last Harts beer night focussed on Hops. We had -

Pilsner Urquell
Stone & Wood Draught
Rocks Pale Ale
Rogue Brutal Bitter
Epic Mayhem

Wednesday the 25th of August we are looking at Malt, sweet malt. I'm looking forward to this one as there is a great selection. $35 for beers and matching canapes. Ring Harts on 9251 6030 to book.

Great night at the Roxbury on Monday. The beers were -

Wells Bombardier Bitter
Fraoch Heather Ale
Rocks 1809 Pale Ale on Hand Pump (thanks Scotty)
Hobgoblin Ruby Red Ale
Youngs Double Chocolate Stout

Matt cooked up a great Toad in the Hole as an accompaniment. Such was the excitement of hand pumped ale we put half a keg of James Squire Golden Ale through the system to close the night.

Harts Pub Beer 101 tonight....
