So I'm considering making my first attempt at top cropping yeast.

I have an APA on US05 which is still sporting an inch or so of krausen on day 8 but its still 10-15 points over my target FG. So I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of how much yeast I can safely skim off without negatively effecting the fermentation.
