Don't know the budget or how OTT you want to go - but an old petrol pump dispensing your "super" and your "standard" (beers) would look cool.
A chequered flag hanging somewhere.
As for the Front cut, I think it would look even better with some rims and rubber mounted in those wheel arches. Just weld / bolt some stub axles or even an old beam axle under there and bolt them on. Your taste may differ.
Love the whole Car-B-Q theme and looking forwards to following it's progress in this thread.

I had considered that however the bbq is now wedged between the bar and the wall so you can't really see the sides so its no real loss. The head lights work and it has fully sick neons underneath the keep the party going.

Oh and thanks everyone for their ideas, Ill see what I can get together this weekend and ill hopefully have photos up within the next few.

Truly brilliant. My uncle has one made from an old Landrover front. Maybe I can immortalise my Excel this way when it finally dies?

Better option for the Excel would be to crush it, then burn it, then shoot it into outer space.... What a car

There's a pub / restaurant in North Adelaide that uses old bench seats as chairs. Can't remember how it's done, lots of chrome from memory. Should be able to pick some up cheap from wreckers I think, especially if you let him know what they're for.

You could have interesting facts and mini memorabilia. around the walls. I thought this was your home bar, it's a pub?

Yeah just a home bar, im not sure where the idea of a pub came in but doesnt matter.

where's the arse end of the mini ?
mount a seat in the boot, seen it done with a 55 chev B)

It'd have to be a straight 6 or youd lose the first few inches out the glass due to the angle of the piston chambers, but good idea though!

Yep in my mind I had already filled the chambers with a self leveling epoxy ;) . just enough to lit the glasses sit level. And a straight six just wouldn't be cool.

Cheers

Dunno 'bout that.

If it was you and five other drinkers, and those other five drinkers just happened to accidently be from the other gender, and they were hot, i reckon it'd be pretty fucken cool????

Unfortunately the other drinkers in my bar are far from being swimsuit models, unless of course the swimsuit shot calls for hairy beergutted men in boardshorts.

I can't imagine a bare block stubby holder being too rust friendly unfortunately.
