Cheers for the info Pat! I'm not sold on my 2 layers of bubble wrap so will pickup an old stubbie holder and try that next time!

I have found that to keep my fermenter fridge at correct temp all year round, I just leave a computer fan running in there.
The fan actually creates enough warmth on its own.

This also helps reduce mould a bit I think.
