Stumbled across this article which discusses the differences between and applications of Sodium Percarbonate and Soduim Hypochlorite

It focuses upon laundry applications - but I think it can be applied to the brewing environment

The article is quite interesting (if you enjoyed chemistry at school)

Cheers

I saw something like that prior to buying a 25kg bag of the stuff. I have also read that Napi-san and similar product can have very large percentages of soda ash, chalk and even wood dust in it to bulk it up. The main thing with Sod per is to use 60 deg C min water temp with it to get the reaction required to release the oxygen. I still say Pink Stain is better but not as safe as Sodium Percarb, and takes a bit longer to work than PSR.
