OK, just got back today from 2 weeks work there, and managed to find a few beers there. As stated, they are pricey ($10-15/500mL), and in some of the brewpubs, raise the price through the day of a beer.

Archipelago had some good brews, a vienna lager - red oktober is a cracker, but its the last of the seasonal brew.

Reddot (which is near the tawandang brewery - about $15/300mL beer) had a couple of OK beers. They had a green one which was a bit different. Infused with something. They do a tasting platter for $10. There is also a german restaurant nearby with german beers.

Brewerkz ha quite a few beers, and do a tasting where you can choose 6 beers of your choice for about $13. There is also another brewery at Clarke quay, did not go to thst one though.

Tiger brewery is good value. A 45 minute tour, followed by 45 minutes of drinking, including some of the Archipelago brews for $16. Be about the cheapest 45 minutes of drinking in singapore. Problem is its about a $30 cab ride from the city.

Didnt get to any others, next time.

Get to china town, or out of the tourist areas for cheaper bottles of beer..

Hope this helps, a bit of recent info
