Hey Guys,

Just been putting together a partial mash recipe have come up with the following:

Style: American Pale Ale
Batch Size: 23L
Boil size: 16L
2KG Ale malt
0.8KG Carapils
0.8KG Carahell
1.5KG Coopers LME

20g Galaxy (60min)
15g Galaxy (20min)
10g Galaxy (10min)

US-05 Yeast
1/2 Whirfloc Tablet

Just after some feed back on ingredients etc.

15% carapils and 15% carahell is too much and will leave too much residual body and sweetness

drop the carapils altogether

wind the carahell back to 300g

increase the ale malt to 3.3 kg

if you want more hop flavour/aroma then add a flameout addition, your ibu's look fine
 
Thanks for your input, I've adjusted my recipe and hopefully I will be brewing this in about a week.
 
Picked up all the ingredients at the brew shop today (Marks Homebrew Newcastle) Had to replace the coopers LME with a Briess light pilsen malt. Looking forward to brewing this.
