Haven't checked the link, but have heard that you get US$5000 if you win. That would be awesome if translated to AU$ too

Sounds great... had a read of the fine print.

You have to be a US resident, send 4 bottles per entry to the comp, whilst keeping more at home should you progress to the finals and more for a lab analysis.... but there is a one time royalty payment of $5000 for the usage of your recipe and an all expenses paid trip to the shindig should you win.

Didn't Paddys do something like this last year? The winner got to have their recipe brewed and served on tap at the pub or something like that. I don't remember a US$5000 prize though.
