[SIZE=medium]With 60 beers entered, judges had their work cut out for them and it was a mighty effort from all involved. we ended up running 3 tables of 3 judges (9 in total) and had about a dozen brewers drop in for tasting/education throughout the day.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]I have to say local brewers can hold their heads high as the quality of crafted beers just goes from strength to strength each year.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Congratulations to all involved. For those on the list above, your awards are available for collection in store or for those at a distance to us in Gympie, Oakey, Toowoomba & Darling Downs, Brisbane etc, your awards and feedback sheets have already been posted out.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Along the way, we raised a little over $400 for Hervey Bay's Comfort Kitchen who do a superb job of feeding the homeless & needy on Wednesday nights (over 100 meals a night) along with a fledgling service providing breakfasts to the needy.[/SIZE]
