Hey Folks, I picked up a can of Coopers European lager for cheap today, and just wondering whats a good brew to make with it?
Should i just wack a BE 2 in with it and good yeast or does someone have a better idea? cheers

I understand it comes with a better yeast than the regular Coopers range. As a kit brew I would certainly use the BE2 and add some hop tea made with Saaz about 4 days of fermentation, and keep temp below 18.

Whats the lowest temp you can brew in jigsaw??

Brad

I have a freezer set up with tempmaster, i can brew at very cold if need be.

The Coopers Euro kit has lager yeast, so yeah around 12 degrees. It will ferment a bit slower than an ale yeast at 18 degrees so may take a bit longer to fully ferment out.
As Bribie has suggested some Euro style hops added would also be the go

Cheers Coops

I used this as a base for one of my all-time favourite kits. If you can get the ingredients its as follows:

1 x euro lager
500g LDME
250g Dex
500g Carahell
10g saaz and 10g hallertau at 5 mins
S-189 yeast
