Brewer's Notes

Recipe was run off to 2 cubes. One cube was run through the hopback with B Saaz flowers the other cube with Pacific Hallertau flowers (these are the 40g 0 minute additions).
One keg was dry hoppped with 10g of B Saaz the other cube with 10g of B Saaz & Pacific Hallertau.
Pacific Hallertau portion won hands down to my tastes. Higher perception of bitterness and hop flavour. Great resiny spice character and highly addictive. Pacific Hallertau could well be my new favourite hop.

Tasting notes 4 weeks in the keg: Easily one of the better beers I've made in ages. Combination of New Zealand hops are totally wonderful. Citrus/spice/resin all predominate with a crisp, malty, almost lager-like background. Beer reminds me of a alternative style of pilsner that matures quickly and I'll definitely be making this recipe again.
