Hey all -

Had a go a while back cold steeping for a porter-esque recipe.

Anyways, the experiment didn't work - I got plenty of chocolatey aroma(the aroma is actually excellent), but not much chocolatey flavour.

I've steeped (warm) and added more choc malt, but not getting much more flavour.

Any suggestions on how to up that choc flavour more without causing any dramas? Just add more choc malt?

Add some low fat cocoa powder to towards the end of your boil. Try about 200gms

(low fat so you don't get unwanted fat/oils in your beer, that can affect head formation/retention, i think)
