Just opened keg (Tooheys Home Brew)after 6 days ferment at or about 24 deg. C.

Tasted and was lovely. Checked spec gravity, was 1008, after starting at 1018.

Today at 1008 again, have put in Coppertun finings.

Now the problem! Tastes a bit strange. Attached photos show a mould or some such thing floating dry on top of beer. Something could have dragged in through the airblock I suppose?View attachment 68367View attachment 68367

1.018 starting gravity sounds wrong.

No pic attached

What's the strange taste? Apples, bubblegum, sulphur etc

Need a bit more info than that.

What was the full recipe mate? Rule of thumb: details details details!

Include the yeast you used, any additives such as dextrose and the final volume you ended up with...

Also your photo did not attach.
