Orchard Ale In Newcastle

Just a heads up for Hunter folk that the Orchard ale went on tap today at the Northern Star in Hamilton. As with all the Squires range, $5.90 a pint. Apparently 5 kegs in stock ... might take some time to shift... I'll be sticking with the Pilsener

OK, so google just helped me to answer my own question.

For anyone that's interested it turns out it's a Saison with crushed apples introduced to the ferment.

Maybe I'll head over to the Northern Star and give it a go....

(although my recently ready-to-drink DrSmurto's Golden Ale is looking pretty good too!)
