Hey all.

Thinking of using old fermenters as title suggests.
They are ones that I suspect had a stubborn infection, so I don't ferment in them anymore.
I have cleaned thoroughly with bleach and left to dry out for a while.

Now dry, and given that the grain will be crushed and boiled, can anyone see this as an issue ??

I feel comfortable about it, but just curious !

edit; grain not boiled !!!! Liquor boiled.

Good idea. Might want to seal the tap hole and airlock hole ;)

All sealed.
Took o-ring out of the lid so some air gets in/out, though fully sealing could be an issue with any unwanted moisture.

Pop a mesh bag of the unscented silica gel kitty litter in your grain bins. It will take care of any excess moisture. Fist size will do nicely.

Boil the poo out of it, plenty of hot water and oxy clean, rinse very well, if there is an infection still there bugger me a super bug, burn it
